SAS AB is the Parent Company of the SAS Group, the Nordic region’s largest listed airline and travel group. In 2006, the SAS Group transported 38,6 million passengers to approximately 160 destinations. SAS offer their customers the opportunity to balance emissions from flights by purchasing a carbon offset, thereby investing in renewable energy projects which reduce the same amount of CO2.
Mats Jansson
 
President and CEO of the SAS Group On January 1, 2007, Mats Jansson assumed the position as President and CEO of the SAS Group. Mats Jansson has studied economics and sociology at the University of Örebro. Since 1973 he has held several leading positions, including President and CEO of Catena/Bilia from 1994-1999, President and CEO of the Fazer group from 1999-2000 and CEO and President of Axfood in 2000.
