| Christian Rynning-Tønnesen, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Rynning-Tønnesen joined Norske Skog in 2005 as Chief Financial Officer and became President and CEO in 2006. He previously served in various management positions in the electricity company Statkraft. He has also worked at McKinsey & Company and at the oil company Esso (Exxon). Mr. Rynning-Tønnesen has a master degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim.
