"Global transport is one of the fastest growing industries. As the world´s leading logistics company, Deutsche Post World Net has a responsibility to help tackle the causes of climate change. With our Climate Protection Program GoGreen we have set ourselves an ambitious goal: we plan to improve our carbon efficiency, including subcontracted transports, by 30 percent by the year 2020. To achieve this goal we will optimize our fleet and our energy consumption, invest in new technologies and offer our customers the option to send their shipments in a carbon-neutral way. Achieving our target depends on global action. We therefore also need a political framework to support a global business response to climate change. That´s why we have joined the 3C-Initiative."
