Mr. Sinha served as Chairman & Managing Director, of BPCL with effect from August 19, 2005. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Numaligarh Refinery Ltd., Mr. Sinha serves as a Non Executive Director of Petronet Lng Ltd. Mr. Sinha has been Director of Numaligarh Refinery Ltd., since September 14, 2001. Mr. Sinha serves as a Director on the Boards of Kochi Refineries Ltd., Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd., Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd. and Bharat Shell Ltd. Mr. Sinha has been conferred with the India Chief Financial Officer Award- 2001 for Information and Knowledge Management by the Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) India and American Express.
